Almost every step in the publishing process of Scient Open Access Journals involves important ethical principles. The clear descriptions of these aspects can encourage authors with responsible publication practices. Below find the most important ethical principles

Data Falsificaton

Fabrication is making up data or results and recording or reporting them. It is manipulating research materials, equipment, or processes, or changing or omitting data or results such that the research is not accurately represented in the research record.

Duplicate Publication

When author submitting manuscript to the journal it is understood that it is an original manuscript and is unpublished work and is not under consideration elsewhere. Plagiarism, including duplicate publication of the author's own work, in whole or in part without proper citation is not tolerated by the journal. Manuscripts submitted to the journal may be checked for originality using anti-plagiarism software.

Duplicate Submission

Duplicate publication is the publication of a paper that shares the same hypotheses, data, discussion, and conclusions substantially with one already published, without clear, visible reference to the previous publication.

Redundant publication

When a published work (or substantial sections from a published work) is/are published more than once without adequate acknowledgment of the source/cross-referencing/justification.

Improper Authorship/Contributorship

Authorship credits should be given those who do substantial contributions to conception and design, acquisition of data, or analysis and interpretation of data, drafting the article or revising it critically for important intellectual content, and final approval of the version to be published. All contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged as contributorship.

Citation Manipulation

Citation manipulation is including excessive citations, in the submitted manuscript, that do not contribute to the scholarly content of the article and have been included solely for the purpose of increasing citations to a given author’s work, or to articles published in a particular journal.

Scient Open Access Journals article found violating the above mentioned policies during publication process will subject to rejection of the manuscript.
