BIOGRAPHY:

"Dr. Kostadin Pavlov Kanchev, DVM, PhD is an Associate Professor in “Veterinary parasitology and parasitic diseases of animals and human” at Department “Infectious pathology, hygiene, technology and control of foods from animal origin” of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Forestry, Sofia, Bulgaria. He has PhD thesis on distribution, ethiology, pathogenesis and antemortem diagnosis of Tenuicol cysticercosis (disease caused by Taenia hydatigena metacestodes) on lambs and pigs in Bulgaria (from May, 2013). His professional interests based also on diagnostics and therapy of parasitic diseases in different domestic and wild animals and exotics. He has been worked on new physical and ecological methods for purification of water from sexual products of various parasites. He has more than 14 years teaching experience as an university lecturer. Dr. Kanchev is an author and co-author of more than 50 publications in scientific journals and conference proceedings.
