BIOGRAPHY:

Şermin Tetik received her PhD degree in Biochemistry from the University of Marmara (Istanbul, Turkey). Currently, she is a professor at the same University in Istanbul, Turkey. She has worked in two external research groups as fellow, one of them beıng at the Center of Pharmacology-Pathology of the School of Medicine at Loyola University, Chicago in 2013, the other being at Florida Cancer Research at Florida University, Orlando, USA in 2016. Dr. Tetik is currently heading her research team focusing on thrombosis–hemostasis, proteomics and modification of protein structure and function, and cancer study. She has successfully completed her administrative responsibilities as advisor of several PhD and MSc students. She has published more than 40 articles in academic journals and over 40 international abstracts in reputed journals, has written several book chapters, and gave many invited lectures. She has served as editorial board member of reputed journals and received several awards and honors
