BIOGRAPHY:

Hamouda Dakhlaoui is assistant professor in National School of Architecture and Urbanism (ENAU, university of Carthage), and he is member of the laboratory LMHE-ENIT. Dr. Dakhlaoui is hydrologist with expertise in hydrological climate change impacts, Rainfall Runoff Modelling and hydrological forecasting. He received his PhD in Hydraulic Engineering from ENIT (2014). He is Civil engineer graduated from the same department (1998) and has a Master degree from the University of Auvergne, France (2012) in Economic and International Development. He was Postdoc follower at Hydrosciences Montpellier (2014-2015, Erasmus Mundus Alyssa Scholarship) and at University of Zurich (2017, Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship). He has been teaching numerous hydrology and civil engineering courses at different levels. Research topics are development of more efficient optimisation algorithm using a learning technique for the calibration of Rainfall-Runoff model, evaluating the robustness of Rainfall Runoff Models under climate variability, development of an original oriented-bootstrap General Split Sample Test (GDSST), development of a guideline for hydrological projections. Dr Dakhlaoui is active member of the network of Mediterranean Experts on Climate and environmental Change (MedECC). He is lead author to the report on climate change impacts in the Mediterranean region.
