BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Ahmed M Asaad is currently working as professor of Microbiology and Coordinator of Microbiology department, College of Medicine, Najran University. He work as a scientific deputy of the chair of his Highness Prince Mishaal Bin Abdullah for Research on Endemic Diseases in Najran since 2010. He is the coordinator of a research team working in the clinical and research lab of microbiology department, College of Medicine, Najran University.He is the author of many papers published in international journals and conference proceedings. He is an Editorial Board member in many international Journals in the field of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. Besides, he carry tasks of Head of Scientific Research Committee, College of Medicine, Najran Univeristy, Saudi Arabia for the last 3 years

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Dr. Ahmed M Asaad main research areas of interest are molecular techniques for identifications of human pathogens, antimicrobial resistance and epidemiological surveillance.
