BIOGRAPHY:

Ramesh Nagarajappa received his masters in Public Health Dentistry from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka in 1999. He started his academic career in Bapuji Dental College and Hospital, Davangere. Very early in his career he had an opportunity to visit a foreign country and present his scientific paper at the 7th World Congress on Preventive Dentistry held at Beijing, China on 26th April 2001. In 2011, he visited San Diego, California, USA and presented a poster at the 89th General Session and Exhibition of IADR/AADR/CADR. He has teaching and research experience of more than fifteen years. He is a recognized guide for post graduate students of public health dentistry. He has more than 65 research publications in peer reviewed medical/dental journals. He is reviewer/member of editorial board of many national and international journals. He has been an invited speaker on research methodology and ethical issues in biomedical research in different parts of the country. He was appointed as subject expert to conduct interview for faculty promotions at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Nepal and Himachal Pradesh Union Public Service Commission, Shimla. He is also regularly appointed as Inspector by Dental Council of India for conducting inspections in various dental colleges. Since 2013, he is working as a Professor and Head at Rama Dental College Hospital and Research Centre, Kanpur.
