BIOGRAPHY:

Dinesh Rao is currently professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Pacific Dental College and Hospital, Pacific University, Udaipur, India, where he is working since its inception. He has graduated in dentistry from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore and obtained his Master's degree in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, India. He has published several papers in national as well as international journals.  He has contributed several chapters in different text books of Pediatric Dentistry. He has been included in the review boards of various peer reviewed national and international scientific journals. His Scientific poster was judged as the second best at the 7th biennial conference of Pediatric Dentistry Association of Asia held at Manila, Philippines in the year 2010. He also won second prize for his scientific paper presentation, at the 8th biennial conference of Pediatric Dentistry of PDAA held at Bali, Indonesia in 2012. His research interests include dentistry for special children, cariology and developmental anomalies in children, where he has several review articles to his credit.
