BIOGRAPHY:

Ying Li, professor, PhD and MD, is from school of public health, Harbin medical university. She is serving as the executive director of Chinese Nutrition Society. the vice chairman of trace elements professional council of the Chinese Nutrition Society. Her main research interests include research of the association of diet and nutrients with chronic diseases (obesity, diabetes and CVD) in a cohort study, and the underlying molecular mechanisms of chronic diseases in terms of diet and nutrients, as well as screen biomarks of nutrition interference by metabonomics analysis. As a principal investigator, she has got a total of 12 grants, including 3 NSFC(national nature scienc fondation of China) funds Since 2006. She has published more than 70 papers in reputed journals, such as Diabetes, Am J Clin Nutr, Int J Obes, Diabetologia and so on. She has been awarded 1 first prize and 1 second prize of Heilongjiang Provincial Honours, and 1 Chinese preventive medicine award second prize.
