BIOGRAPHY:

Arwa Owais joined the University of Iowa College of Dentistry & Dental Clinics in 2013 as an associate professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. She served as a faculty member in the preventive dentistry department from 2000-2003 at Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan. She was the vice dean of the College of Dentistry at Jordan University of Science and Technology from 2012-2013 and the head of the pediatric dentistry section at King Abdulla Hospital, Jordan, from 2010-2013. Her research interests include prevention of dental caries in infants, toddlers, and adolescents.Owais is a member of the American Pediatric Dentistry Association, the Jordan Dental Association, and the Jordanian Pediatric Dentistry Society
