FekriDureab is a Medical doctor, he has a post graduated diploma in Community Medicine and he awarded the MSc degree in International Health by Heidelberg University in 2011. Fekri worked as a general practitioner in public hospitals since 2005 in Yemen. He joined IMCI department in the primary health care sector at ministry of health in 2007. Later he worked with GIZ Yemen as a Technical Officer of Community Based Reproductive Health Promotion.Fekri enrolled with the internship program of WHO Geneva directly after his master study to work as part of the Maternal, Newborn, Children and Adolescent department on the countdown report 2012 and the revision of the computerized version of IMCI.Then he joined WHO Yemen to work as Professional National Officer to take the responsibility on the Nutrition and Noncommunicable Diseases Section CAT 2 till June 2016, in addition to his tasks he participated in the interventions of the Emergency Humanitarian Action Department at WHO country office during the crises of Yemen and he was the project manager of the electronic Disease Early Warning System. Currently, he is a PhD student in the Global Health policies and systems work group , working on Diseases Early Warning System in the humanitarian crises.
