BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Suna Sabuncuoglu as an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Toxicology at Department of Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Hacettepe, Turkey. She graduated from Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Hacettepe, Ankara, Turkey. She completed her PhD studies on Pharmaceutical Toxicology. She worked as a PhD student at The International Agency for Research on Cancer, Molecular Carcinogenesis Laboratory. She also had a postdoc position at Department of Chemotherapy and Virology, Rega Institute, The Catholic University of Leuven. In addition to teaching, Dr. Sabuncuoglu has different administrative positions. She is in the editorial boards of international journals.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Dr. Suna Sabuncuoglu research interests are Oxidative Stress Parameters, Antioxidant Enzymes activities and expressions, Antioxidant Effect of Aminoguanidine, Mycotoxins, P53, KRAS mutation and DNA damage, Apoptosis (e.g. Annexin V and free plasma DNA), Protein oxidation, Chemotherapy Side Effects, Stem Cell Transplantation, oxidative damage, Mycoplasma and cancer.
