He graduated from Ege University in Izmir, Turkey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Leather Technology. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. on Leather Engineering from Ege University in Izmir, Turkey

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Ecology, environment, microbiology, film, biopolymers, polymers, encapsulation, materials, leather, textile, chitosan, gelatin, coacervation, controlled release microencapsulation, bioactive compounds, biomaterials and essential oils
