BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Amy Martinez Garcie received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner), and post-Masteras Certificate (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) from Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, Louisiana. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. She has worked in many areas of healthcare and spoken internationally on topics related to pediatric sexual abuse. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the ASN/BSN/MSN Programs within the College of Nursing and School of Allied Health at Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, Louisiana.
