BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. J. Ignacio Tello currently Associate Professor at Technical University of Madrid (Spain) from January 2006. I did my Ph.D. at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and, as a part of the PhD project I was visiting University of Minnesota for few months during 1999 and 2000. I studied a degree in mathematical sciences and I was introduced in Mathematical Biology during my Ph.D. Thesis. From 2001 I have been working in Mathematical models of PDEs and its applications to biology and Medicine. From 2010 I am leading a research group at UPM sponsored by the Spanish Ministry of Sciences. We are 4 permanent members and several Ph.D. Students. We are in fluid Contact with several research groups in the European Union, US and Central and South- America.
