My name is Adrian Bartos, I am 36 years old, general surgery specialist with supraspecialisation in general and interventional ultrasound, laparoscopic surgery and hepato-bilio-pancreatic surgery. I work in Surgical Clinic nr. III, Gastroenterology and Hepatology Institute, Prof. Dr. Octavian Fodor, in Cluj-Napoca. I am the coordinator of the HIPEC program in our institution. I am a member of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery and Other Interventional Techniques (EAES) and the Romanian Association of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery and Liver Transplant. My areas of interest are hepato-biliary-pancreatic and oncology digestive surgery and I was main surgeon in over 1500 surgeries. I did internships at the Transplant and Visceral Clinic in Heidelberg, Germany and trainings in HIPEC procedure in The Netherlands Cancer Institute and I got my diploma in Laproscopic Advanced Surgery at Strasburg University, France (IRCAD). Regarding my scientific activity, I published 22 articles in extenso, 12 of them as main author. I am the author of 51 published abstracts, 9 posters and 13 chapters in different speciality books. All publications targeted digestive surgical pathology. I have finished a Phd research in 2016, in the field of advanced colorectal cancer. I'm the coordinator of the clinical trials that are conducted in our institution, studies aimed on patients with digestive surgical pathology. With regards to fundamental research, I am member in the research team of four national grants, two of them finished and two in progress.
