Dr. Bibhu P. Swain received the B.S. degree in Physics from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, in 1993 and the M.S. degree in Physics from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India, in 1996. M.Tech degree in Materials Science, from Barkatullah University, India. 2001, Ph.D degree in semiconductor materials from Indian Institute of Technology, Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science, Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. India, 2006.
In 2006, he was a Project Scientist with the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. His research interest includes the synthesis of nanomaterials and nanodevices, Photovoltaics cells. Authors awards and honors include the NRF Fellowship (University of Cape Town), the Brain Korea 21 Fellowship (South Korea Materials Research), the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Fellowship (Japan) and Young Scientist (Govt. of India). Now he is working as an associate professor at Center for Materials Science and Nanotechnology (CMSNT), Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Majitar, Rangpo.
