BIOGRAPHY:

Sadaf Jamal Gilani, M.Pharm., Ph.D. has completed her studies from Jamia Hamdard, New delhi and is working as an Assistant Professor at Aljouf University, Sakaka, KSA. She is the recipient of Women’s Scientist Scheme award from Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India, New Delhi. Apart from the above, she has also received JRF grant from University Grants Commission, Govt. of India, New Delhi. She has a total experience of about 10 years in teaching and research. She has contributed three book chapters in different publisher like Elsevier and CRC. She has more than 40 publications of international and national repute. She has supervised two students at postgraduate and is supervising one student at doctorate level. She has presented her research work in about 17 conferences held in India. She is a life time member of many Indian scientific organizations and is a reviewer to a large number of international and national Journals of repute. Her research interest includes synthesizing NCE’s (New Chemical Entities) for microbials and tubercular activities. She is also working on herbal drug moieties for the treatment of tubercular disorder. Dr. Gilani is also actively engaged in various committees of the department, faculty and University
